Chef Appreciation Week continues!👨🍳 Food as a medicine - Ars Longa, Vita Brevis Having trained in 'a la carte', 'banquet' and 'table d'hote' a different line of training began. Carbohydrate counting for diabetics, fortified diets for the frail and dysphagia diets after brain injury, all while maintaining the qualities expected of the foundation training. Things may have moved on in medicine and diets, but the skills of the chef to provide comfort, confidence and convalescence remain.
