We welcome you to dine at Woodlands.  Whether, you fancy a full English without the washing up, morning coffee and cake, an elegant afternoon tea beside a crackling fire, a drink with friends while the sun sets or a sumptuous supper; we’re open to everyone.

We serve a 3 course ‘table d’hôte’ evening menu in our restaurant, which changes daily with the availability of the freshest seasonal, local and British produce.  Our dishes are familiar classics with British and European influences from France, Austria and Italy.  Children are very welcome to dine with their families, and we will happily tailor food to suit their taste buds.

We hold a selection of fine wines from around the world to suit all tastes and budgets.  The bar also stocks a range of local Cumbrian beers from Hesket New Market and Tirrils of Appleby.  You’ll find a wide range of whisky and gin from around the globe, including the local Lakes Distillery, alongside a range of familiar branded spirits and soft drinks.
