Woodlands Cottage
Set in the grounds of Woodlands Country House, Woodlands Cottage (Visit Britain 3* grading) has two bedrooms and sleeps up to four people.
It was originally the stables for the Victorian vicarage and retains a lot of character. The large comfortable lounge/diner has a high pitched roof, beautiful views across the fields and a huge wood burning stove to toast your toes on chilly evenings. Heating is provided by night storage heaters and all electricity is included in the rental price. The cottage is equipped with colour television, DVD, VCR and CD with a range of CDs, DVDs, videos, games and books for your use.
The kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher, microwave, electric cooker, fridge and freezer. There is a washing machine and a tumble drier in the entrance lobby.
Both bedrooms are small but comfortable. One contains a double bed and the other a single bed and a loft bed suitable for older children or agile adults.
The cottage has its own lawned garden area with a barbecue and patio chairs/table
and a small enclosed yard filled with cottage garden flowers.
Guests in Woodlands Cottage are welcome to use the bar in Woodlands Country House or to book breakfast or dinner in the house according to availability.
Well behaved pets are welcome in Woodlands Cottage at a small additional charge.
